Even before we broke ground on our home, Fred and Betty Michiels from Fred Michiels Construction, LLC were wonderful to work with. They treated us with respect, professionalism, and gave us expert feedback when we asked them questions along the way. While we were in the design phase for our new home, we were able to communicate with Fred and Betty about what we were trying to accomplish in our home, what items were “non-negotiable,” and what they thought could make our home more efficient.
Once we broke ground in the Spring of 2019, Fred was on the job site everyday. His expertise and attention to detail is something we valued in a builder. He has many connections to other local small businesses which all take pride in their work. Fred made countless phone calls to subcontractors to keep the project moving forward while taking our input and keeping us informed throughout the process.
We were hoping to get a nice house by the time we finished and we ended up with a beautiful home to raise our family in that is well-built, energy-efficient, and economical.
